Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF)
Grants of up to $25,000 to USA nonprofit veteran service organizations for programs that support veterans, including veterans with disabilities. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent before applying. Funding may be used for unique programs that provide physical and mental recovery services. Examples of eligible projects include art therapy, recreational therapy, equine therapy, service dogs, and yoga.

The maximum amount an organization can apply for is $25,000. The amount of financial assistance provided to a veteran’s service provider shall be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Veteran Service Providers may apply for this grant. Veteran Service Provider means: an authorized agency that has obtained 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 status from the IRS. This organization must provide direct physical or mental health services to veterans.
Grant requests for overhead costs, salaries, and/or general support only, are not eligible under this program.
DVNF has two open sessions a year in which they process grants. Organizations may submit their application during these open grant sessions.
Summer 2019 Grant Session:
- Letter of Intent (LOI) Start: May 1, 2019
- LOI Close: May 31, 2019
- LOI Status notified: June 7th, 2019
- Applications close: July 1, 2019
- Application Status Notification: August 15, 2019
