Grants to Oregon nonprofit organizations, individuals, and agencies that provide cultural benefit to the residents of Tillamook County. Funding is intended to increase participation in local heritage, humanities, and arts programs. Priority areas of funding include the environment, community arts projects, education, heritage, and traditions.
The Coalition uses the following priorities, identified by county citizens, to select projects to receive funding:
-Education: Projects relating to cultural education in grades K-12, and the greater community.
-Community Arts: Projects relating to a county-wide cultural event.
-Heritage: To support projects relating to the documentation and preservation of the history of commercial, residential, and public structures, native and traditional cultures, and origins of the fishing, farming, and lumber industries.
-Environment: Projects relating to open space, natural beauty, and ecosystems.
-Traditions: Projects relating to locally produced foods and traditional arts (i.e. quilting).

Individual grant awards have ranged from $600-$4,000.
TCCC awards are made by December 15 each year. Projects or programs will be completed by December 31 of the following year.
Grant applicants must:
-Be an individual(s), a nonprofit organization, or a governmental organization.
-Be a resident of Tillamook County, if an individual.
-Maintain a registered headquarters in Tillamook County, if an organization.
Projects not eligible for funding are those designed to benefit an organization’s members or adherents; those that propagandize / directly influence elections or legislation; and/or those meant to provide ongoing operating funds.
The deadline for applying for grant funding is October 25th. Grant proposals are considered and awarded by November 30th. TCCC awards are made by December 15 each year.
All applications must be presented in writing. Please submit applications by close of business by email to the current TCCC chairperson.
