Grants ranging from $20,000 to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations and theater companies to provide Shakespeare and theater education to youth in the juvenile justice system. Applicants must submit an intent to apply prior to submitting a full application.
For the purpose of this program, juvenile offenders are defined as youths (18 years or younger) who have been found guilty in the juvenile justice system of committing a delinquent act and the system may include juvenile facilities or detention centers, educational schools/programs specifically for juvenile offenders or incarcerated youths, court-appointed programs, short- or long-term treatment centers, transitions centers, etc.

Grants ranging from $20,000 – $25,000 will be awarded.
Programming dates: August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021
