Grants of up to $10,000 to Tillamook County, Oregon nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses to promote, expand, and enhance the local tourism industry. Funding is intended to support the promotion and marketing of programs, activities, services, and events that will attract visitors to Tillamook County.
Emphasis is placed on projects that encourage tourism in the shoulder and off-seasons (non-peak tourist months), encouraging extended stays, repeat visits, and contribute to the development and improvement of the local economy by means of enhancement, expansion, and promotion of the local tourism industry.
As part of the application, eligible applicants will be asked to describe how the proposed project complements or contributes holistically to the tourism priorities of Visit Tillamook Coast. Applicants may apply for grant funding up to $10,000.
All grant activities must be completed by February 1, 2021. If the project is for the promotion of a specific event, grant activities must be completed no later than 30 days following the event.
