Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to USA full-time preK-12 teachers in multiple states for projects that foster student achievement through the creative use of technology. Applications are invited from teachers in the following funding source service areas and corporate locations: Ouachita Parish, Louisiana; Johnson County, Kansas; St. Louis County, Missouri; and Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

The Foundation's goal is to help teachers implement technology into their classrooms in innovative ways to help engage their students in STEM concepts.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant requests should range from $500-$5,000.

Term of Contract:

Grant funds should be spent and equipment should be in place by the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The CenturyLink Teachers and Technology Grant Program is a competitive grant open to full-time classroom teachers in a PreK-12 public, private or charter school in EITHER a CenturyLink residential service area or one of the following Corporate locations: Ouachita Parish, LA; Johnson County, KS; Tulsa County, OK or St. Louis County, MO.

Eligible States include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming

The applicant must be the teacher who will be executing the grant and using the requested items in their classroom.

Applications should not be submitted by principals, grant writers, technology coordinators, school-board members, PTOs, parents or anyone other than the teacher that will be executing the grant.

If unsure if a school is in a CenturyLink residential service area; visit the website and enter the school address to verify if CenturyLink services are provided there.

Applicants will be required to sign a certification document stating that they have no role in the purchasing decisions for the school or school district's technology or telecommunication services.

Previous applicants may apply on an annual basis.

Pre-Application Information:

Application Deadline and Notification

- Applications will be accepted until January 12, 2020.
- The review process will be completed and grants presented April 1 - May 15, 2020. Don't contact CenturyLink seeking details on your grant status between January 12 and May 16.
- Grant recipients will be notified of their selection and receive their grant checks between
April 1 and May 15, 2020.
- All other applicants will receive a decline email on May 16.
- A full list of all grant recipients will be posted on May 16.
